ISKRAFT was privatly founded in November 1975 and was a family owned company for 24 years. Ownership of the company changed in 1999 when Husasmidjan bought the company. Husasmidjan is a leading DIY retail hardware store in Iceland.

Today ISKRAFT is a wholesaling and importing organization of electrical equipment, i.e. low voltage, medium voltage and high voltage material used for generation, transmission, distribution, installation and utilisation of electric energy, and is one of the largest in Iceland in this field.

To give our customers our best service and support ISKRAFT has outlets in 5 locations in Iceland, in Reykjavík, in Akureyri (North coast), in Egilstadir (East coast), in Selfoss (South coast), and in Reykjanesbaer (South-West coast) with a total of 36 employees.
